Amazon.com has listed Dissappearence! as the alternate title of the 'penny-dreadful' version of The Wide Window. It is due to be released on the 4th of September of 2007--a whole five months after the first two! Also, a three book set of the re-issues is planned; its release date is listed as September 1, 2007 oddly enough.

Also, all covers whose art or design do not signifcantly differ from the American or British editions have been deleted.

In other news, the cover for Horseradish has been released. See the American covers page for the cover. Also, the summary on Amazon.com now reads:

The End is not the end, despite what you may think. Three new books have appeared listed on Amazon:

1) Series of Unfortunate Events #1: Or, Orphans!

2) Series of Unfortunate Events #2: Or, Murder!

3) Horseradish: Bitter Truths You Can't Avoid

A new article has also been posted. The articles appears to hint at further Snicket books (no Baudelaire books, but a series which may overlap with the Baudelaires'). Also, the first two books on the list above appear to be the penny-novel style reprints mentioned.

The End has arrived. The page will not be updated until tomorrow, to allow everyone to read the book first. The AuthorTracker page has been updated as well. The e-mail reveals a contest that allows you to finish your own Beatrice Letter. The three winners will be read by Mr. Snicket himself, and posted in February. Voting commences in January.

TA he Beatrice Letters was released upon the world today. Avoid it at al l costs. Also, for those who reveiver Author Tracker or read it on this site, the hidden image is on the observer's left side of the cover, just inside of the yellow and between Beatrice's hair curls. Look closely for a picture of younger Beatrice (Beatrice #1--maybe?).
